The Kristi Glacier Trail is a moderate difficulty hike that take you along a glacier fed creek, past a beautiful waterfall, up through beautiful alpine meadows with breathtaking views of towering peaks and large glaciers. The trail ends at the pass but there is lots more that can be explored beyond.
Access: Start on the Dore River Forest Service Road and travel for ~6km to the junction. Take the right fork with signs for Ozalenka. At roughly 14km take the left fork following signs for Kristi Glacier. From where the road ends you hike through an old logging block before entering into old growth forest and following the river to the head wall. The trail then turns right and rises up to the pass with excellent views of Mt. Kristi and Kristi glacier.
